Best Of Amsterdam #51 – Asia

1BoAms2012The end is near, not only of this year but also this series “Best of Amsterdam”.

This week I would like to introduce you to Dun Yong on the corner of Geldersekade and Stormsteeg. They have the largest collection of Asian food, frozen and non-frozen. But also cooking utensils, furniture, cutlery and china from China and other Asian countries. Over 6 floors you’ll find the stuff you need for that special meal, or an exclusive gift from far-far-away.

Since early 2012, you can find a Ramen Shop on the 2nd floor of their store. Chef Fow Ping offers authentic Japanese Ramen Noodle Soup. These aren’t your basic ramen noodles though, they strive to bring you a bowl full of passion, fresh Japanese noodles in a deep broth, without any artificial flavour enhancers. The original Japanese flavour!
