After all the shopping and sight-seeing in wonderful Amsterdam, it’s time for lunch. Feel like an Amsterdammer when you order a broodje [bun] at Eetsalon Van Dobben
Aat van Dobben started his lunchroom right after WW2, on Korte Reguliersdwarsstraat* 5, in later years numbers 7 and 9 were added to the business. They’re most famous for their Croquettes, which are world-famous in the Netherlands. But also their buns with sliced deli meats, peanut butter or chocolate sprinkles.
They have two lunchrooms, the oldest in a side street of Reguliersbreestraat corner of Rembrandtsplein, and the other near the daily Albert Cuyp market.
