Hope the meat will not be cremated when in comes of the BBQ, while you watch the fireworks.
Although… when the weather stays on the east coast as it was the last couple of days… you only have to put the meat and sausages in the sun to have them barbecued.
Americans have a tendency to want to move holidays around for ‘convenience’; some move more readily than others. I don’t like moving holidays. Happily 7/4 isn’t so readily moved, although (curiously) the fireworks nights are often moved.
