Okay, where were we.
I had my emergency appointment with Dr 3 this morning. After seeing me and checking vitals he came to the same conclusion as last Friday. The body has hydrated itself after the high blood glucose levels I had before the insulin pump system. My blood pressure is one of a ‘young god’, or with my age as a demigod.
Next to an immediate blood check [HBA1c] and a ECG, I’ll have an echo made later this week. I think he did the blood check for the fun of it, since a HBA1c shows how your blood glucose has changed over a period of 2 to 3 months. So my change in these last three weeks won’t really show up.
His advice of losing the extra weight is, to slash my food intake in half. Instead of 1 slice of bread for breakfast and one for lunch, only half a slice. The one potato for dinner has to be halved too, the vegs can stay the same, and when I eat meat I should cut that amount too.
I opted for intravenous chocolate milk, but we all know even the diet version is still to thick, so that wasn’t an option.
What ever the results of the blood sample, ECG and echo will be, he’ll notify me when necessary, I don’t have to wait till my next appointment mid September.
IV chocolate milk is bad on the complexion.
Sounds like things are still going well and are under control.
