I’m off to Bad Wörishofen in Southern Germany, for the European Master Tailor Convention or as we call it EMTC. It will start on Thursday till Sunday. Next to the latest developments in tailoring there will be also cultural visits in the neighborhood. You can follow our exploits on BvK International, our dual language site in Dutch and English.
During the convention the spoken language is German. Speaking it is one, writing it is a whole different story. That’s why I stick to my version of English. [Josh

Have a safe and enjoyable trip!

Have fun! We’ll be here.
I would really like to attend this.
This sounds wonderful. And I can understand your concerns about writing in German. I marvel at your ability with languages. But then I guess when you grow up speaking Dutch, you don’t have much choice!
60 million people in the world speak a form of Dutch. Dutch is even teached at universities in Japan and China. To both of them it must sound like Chinese is to us.
