I reviewed my charity list and added the Food-bank to it, not only for Christmas but the coming year aswell.

We don’t celebrate Christmas with gifts as much as in other places, maybe you’ve read the post on Sinterklaas… Next, December 25 is my birthday so how do I see what is a Xmas gift or a birthday gift, the wrappers look all the same.

There’s not really anything I desperately want… a flat screen TV I’ll buy it when I’ve saved enough money and after my summer vacation and a new matress…

When I was still working: Time off, presents, food you normally don’t eat
Now after 8 years not working [early retirement as I call it]: Presents, festive food in tiny portions, and every day is time off…

I like plain and bold papers… but so long as everything co-ordinates (paper, ribbon, trinket, gift card) and suits the person you’re giving it to, that’s the main thing.

I’m not sure yet, the header is already in style, there’s still 12 days to go…
I always felt sorry for those born on or about C’mas. It seems that they get cheated out of a celebration (not necessarily presents). I was always glad that mine was roughly mid year.
I am intrigued to know if The Grinch is known at all in Europe?
